This is it + our food excess diary

While we were in Haiti, my mom gave us $50 as an anniversary present.

Decided to have a REAL date.

Saw the Michael Jackson movie. Sat slack-jawed mumbling, "amazing" under my breath. Actually, that's a lie. I was shoveling down a large buttered popcorn. I definitely have some work to do if I am ever going to really fit into this American culture again, because I am embarrassed to say that Nick and I were NOT able to finish it. Not even close. Which is disappointing because there are free refills. So we didn't get our $11.50 worth of popcorn + Diet Coke. (Duh.) (Running date total: $31.50)

Afterwards, Nick and I stopped by the mall food court for a McDonalds cheeseburger (Nick had a Big Mac.)(Running date total- $36.15) I also ordered greek yougurt dip with warm pitas from Baba Ghanoush at the next booth over as a side instead of fries. (Running date total-- $38.80) Nick ordered a Cinnabon as his side. (You know, something *light* since he was having a Big Mac...)

Total for the date: $42.48

The way I add it up, we still have $7.52 to spend.

Hmmm... Nick mentioned that Ben and Jerry's has a pumpkin cheesecake flavor now...
