Where to begin?

The thought of getting rid of everything we own in the next 3 months (and still doing "life" in the meantime) is starting to make me feel a little panicky-- not because I care that much about any of this stuff, but because there is SO much to do.

I honestly don't know where to start.

Breathe, Gwenn. Breathe.

  1. A little advice:
    1. Breathe is good advice to yourself
    2. Don't look at it all or you WILL be overwhelmed. Look at one thing at a time (whether it means all Nia's clothes, one shelf in the closet, one drawer in the kitchen) 3. Don't be afraid to ask for help.
    4. When you get overwhelmed, walk away for at least 15 minutes - pray - and remember that it WILL all get done.
Love you, wish I was close enough to help.

  2. do you remember that book you had as a kid "what to do when your mom says to clean your room" it was great. i still sometimes use the principles from it. i think i may still have a copy.

  3. As a wise woman once said, "When in doubt, throw it out." :)

  4. It's not so much throwing things out or not-- it's starting the eliminating and packing while we're still living here.

And trying to figure out the whole what goes when scenario.

  5. Melody...damn, I always thought it was "When in doubt, scream and shout".
No wonder my marriage has communication issues.
